Every week the Saint Gervais mountain guides produce a varied programme of escorted walks and hikes.

The baroque footpath
The Baroque Footpath, 20 kilometres long, joins Combloux with Les Contamines and Notre Dame de la Gorge, passing through the village of Saint Nicolas de Véroce.. Along this walk discover oratories, chapels and baroque style churches that bear witness to the rich religious past in the region. Every week commentated visits are organized along a portion of the trail between the chapel at Cupelin and the church in Saint Nicolas de Véroce.

The Val Montjoie Footpath
This path leads you from Le Fayet to Les Contamines and Notre Dame de La Gorge following the river Bonnant. The trail offers varied scenery: waterfalls and impressive gorges, suspended footbridges, quiet prairies, forests, farms and traditional villages. There is also a magnificent view of the Mont Blanc, Aiguille de Bionnassay and Les Dômes de Miage.

Glacier Hike

As part of the environnental scheme
" La Montagne à l'Etat Pur ", Saint-Gervais has chosen to work in close collaboration with specialists capable of unveiling the mysteries of nature. Luc Moreau, , glaciologist and professor of geography and the Saint Gervais mountain tour guides, have combined science, local heritage and the setting of the Bionnassay glacier to offer you an original, magical and instructive hike in magnificent scenery.

The Cable Cars
Saint-Gervais - Le Bettex & Le Bettex - Mont d'Arbois.

In winter, the cable cars take skiers and hikers to Le Bettex and Mont d'Arbois. Come and discover an exceptional panoramic view of the Mont Blanc mountain range A hiking pass has been especially developed to give you access to 10 ski lifts and enable you to visit the snow covered areas on foot.

Scenery not to be missed
in summer! Come and enjoy the sunny terraces of alpine restaurants, lunch or dinner in the fresh air, opposite Mont Blanc.
